Located just west of Wildcat Mountain
along historic Daniels Park Road, an old American Indian trail, the Centennial
Water and Sanitation District 4-MG Zone 6 Reservoir is being constructed
to meet the water demands of the growing Highlands Ranch development including
a new Douglas County High School. Douglas County is one of the fastest
growing counties in the US. The tank is buried to minimize the visual
impacts on this scenic area.
Jennison Construction Co., Inc., is the general contractor. Connie Cowles-Biederbeck is the District’s
Project Manager. Sam Hunt is the project superintendent. Bates Engineering’s
staff is led by Jordan Willeke, EI. This is the fourth reservoir project
Bates Engineering has designed for the District since 1991.
